GRATITUDE CHANGES EVERYTHING

WELCOME FRIENDS!

A Little gratitude goes a long way. As today officially kicks off the holiday season around our studio we are especially focused this year on taking time each day to really think about what we are grateful for! As the month goes by I will be adding journaling and lists to my mini album and some snapshots of my month.
But today I just wanted to share a peek into the start of my mini album with a few tips on how you can easily create yourself one too. With or without photos its can be a journal or memory. You don't have to have photos to enjoy creating a mini album.
My cover is where I will put most of my creativity and time. It will sit on my shelf as a daily reminder to add my thoughts and a few photos. I wanted to keep the inner pages really simple with stamped quotes and words because I know if I try to do too much I won't finish it.
I really like the option of mixing square and shaped pages. My pages are 4.5" square stitched with added cut file leaves and the wood album. This adds extra dimension and texture helping you keep it simple but unique and interesting.
I've used gold glitter embossing as my accent and our tapered tags for a way to journal in between the pages.

I've simply cut the leaf cutfile from our Home for the holidays patterned paper and added inbetween some pages - just for fun. you could add a small quote or leave as page dividers. Simple and so fun as you can peek through to the next page.

I'm not sure I've made a mini book without vellum accents, They are my personal favorite. Simply emboss a greeting and allow your image to peek through.

I've added another leaf and you can see the peek through elements below. I've added some tags from the coordinating Grateful die set a few stamped elements in our new DIJON ink and I will be journaling small notes or adding some micro pictures.

the last page I'm sharing today is the wood page where I have simply wrapped with a little thread and tucked in some leaves. I'll also be adding some stamped words, small pictures of things I am grateful for.
As we head into this season of busy I hope you make the time to create a little something you can help you reflect on all the things you are grateful for.
Thanks for stopping by today!

What a beautiful album! The variety of shapes and materials used for the various layers create a lot of interest.

    Hi!
I love every single page of this mini! Especially how you have used all the stamps in a special way to give them space to leap out. Vellum is also one of my favourite options in an album and I love your idea using the ticket die. Such a beautiful inspiration!!! Thank you!
    Have a nice weekend, Sylvia(@stempelheldin).

I like the concept of a mini album that uses black and white photos and the leaf shape is sooo cute!
