DAY 3 of the Color Crush Christmas
Who’s ready to create a little 12 days of christmas?! Have you seen our dotted tree die- it’s so versatile and making a countdown or 12 days of Christmas should be at the top of the list with this die cut!
There are actually so many ways you could use this idea. Not into all the colors? Choose your favorite patterned paper or stamp your favorite backrounds in the colors that match your christmas decor and you could make a cute centerpiece for a dinner party or a fun tree scape on your shelf or mantle.
This is another fairly quick and easy project that adds alot of punch to your holiday decor! Grab some supplies because this can be done in under an hour.
Mini Ornaments stamp set (greeting)
Glitter Paper (craft store)
Kraft 2″ boxes (local packaging store)
1.Start by die cutting 2 trees in each of the Color Crush Colors.
2. Glue one to the front and one to the back of the skewer and glue the edges together.
3.Die cut and glue the Skinny Upper Numbers to the fronts of the trees and if you like a little dimension add some foam tape to pop up. These are cut from a glitter paper for some added christmas sparkle!
4. Stamp and emboss a greeting on a small strip of white cardstock and fold around the stick.
5.Pierce a hole in the top of a 2×2 box.
6. Poke the skewers into the boxes
And because I love this tree so much I made a simple shaker card. using some scraps of cardstock to create a striped background and layered the Holiday Greetings stamp set embossed in white on vellum for a subtle message. Don’t forget some glitter or sequins!
Hope you are ready to get crafting with some color this week!
