Welcome! It’s a week of Color Crush Christmas ideas and GIVEAWAYS!
So happy you stopped by. I’m excited to bring you a fun filled week of colorful , simple ways to add paper crafting and stamping to your holidays! From home decor to gift giving we’ve got you covered.
Today I’m sharing a super easy and fairly inexpensive way to make your own colorful paper confetti ornaments that can be used to decorate your tree, hang from garlands or my personal favorite. Add to your gift packages.
First up- Gather some supplies:
Color Crush Asst. Cardstock Pack
Twine & Sequins (Hobby Lobby)
Glass / Plastic Ornaments (Hobby Lobby)
I started by using a micro shredder – quick and easy but I have always used fringe scissors before and they work fabulous. If you want to add a little sparkle you could easily add some sequins and glitter to the mix.
The easiest way to fill these is take a handful and start stuffing. LOL! To contain the mess you can put everything in a plastic baggie including the ornament and work inside the bag to avoid it getting confetti everywhere.
Once you’ve completed the colors you’d like. I thought it would be fun to add some tags for easy gift giving. If you want to add these to your tree just simply add a shiny bow or ribbon to the top to hang from the branches.
These tags don’t get much easier.
1.Cut small tag from Tag’d dies for each ornament.
2.Cut coordinating reinforcer from matching cardstock
3.Stamp using the New Black Ink any of the greetings from Candy Cane Christmas. (these would be sooo cute embossed too)
4.Die cut the holly and berry leaves and add sequins for the berries.
5.Tie with twine to each ornament and add to your presents!
