Hello all! This is Channin (channin.wordpress.com)
and I am so thrilled to be here sharing a fun shaker card featuring the Lovely Layers Stamp Bundle!
In my video I demonstrate how to to create a shaker card without foam tape or craft foam with the Lovely Labels Nested Dies!!
Lovely Labels Shaker Card Without Foam
To create this card you will need five A2 panels as well as an A2 top-folding card base made from white card stock. First, I use the largest die from the Lovely Labels Nested Die set to die cut a window out of one of the A2 panels. I then used this panel as a guide to help me center the largest frame stamp from the Lovely Labels Stamp Set onto another A2 panel of white card stock.
Once centered I then stamped it in Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide. Next, I diecut the negative space inside the stamped frame out with the second largest die nested die. I then used this stamped and die cut panel as a guide to center the second largest frame stamp onto another A2 panel.
Once centered I then stamped it in Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide and then die cut the negative space inside the frame out with the third largest nested die. I then repeated this process for the two remaining A2 panels with Distress Oxides Mustard Seed and Luckily Clover and working my way through the remaining nesting dies and frame stamps except the smallest. I then used my last panel (now stamped with the second smallest frame stamp and diecut with the smallest nested die) as a guide to help me center the smallest frame stamp onto the card base and then stamped it in Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide.
With all my layers for my well completed, I then stamped a sentiment onto an A2 panel of acetate in Jet Black Stazon Ink. I then glued the first panel (the one die cut with the largest nested die) onto the acetate to create the front for my shaker card. I then created my well by adhering all the remaining panels onto the card base, starting with the panel with smallest opening and ending with the one with the largest. I then filled the well with clear sequins and then finished the card by adhering the front over the well.
I hope you enjoyed!
