A little inspiration from Jamie
That Large Leaves Die Set tho…the size is beautifully scaled so that I simply cut the line die from white cardstock for a texture on white vibe, creating a beautiful background. Using a small dab of adhesive I attached the leaves to the base allowing them to float above the paper as if freshly fallen from a tree. The pops of color from the Bloom Street Patterns play nicely with any fall photos. I partnered the hues with a solid cardstock and used the Skinny Alpha Upper along with the HELLO cut out from the Bloom Street Papers to craft a simple title.
Turning the corner by way of colors, also from the Bloom Street Pattern Paper, this sweet layout was born. Using the outline stamps from the Ready to Bloom Stamp Set paired with grey ink, I stamped then die cut flowers with the Ready to Bloom Die Set. I layered smaller flowers over larger flowers after having ‘watercolored’ them with a mist I had in my stash. Using just a bit of hot glue to layer and adhere allowed these blooms to look as if they were coming to life. The sentiment belongs to the Ready to Bloom Stamp set as well. And that perennial Hey Die Cut looks great on any story page.
The beginnings of a mini album in the works, this page cover started with that great stripe pattern from Bloom Street Paper. Making several cuts with the Ready To Bloom Card Cover, I crafted a background element with white textured cardstock. I also ‘popped’ several additional blooms on the card cover to create depth and interest. The J comes from the new Jumbo Alphabet Dies. Cutting that out on that old school paisley made me all kinds of happy. It is attached over the Ready To Bloom Card Cover with pop-dots and a label layered behind to help give it dimension and not get lost on the page. Typing up a well loved quote and cutting up journal strips completed this album cover.
