It’s Channin here and I am so thrilled to be guesting today at The Stamp Market!!! Today I’ll be sharing a no-line watercolor card I created using the Someone Special Stamp and Die sets.
To create this card, I first stamped a 5.5” x 6.25” panel of bristol paper with the Someone Special Stamp in antique linen distress ink. I then watercolored the images using Tombow Dual Brush Pens.
Blue Leaves: 555
Green Leaves: 277
Red Flowers: 885
Centers: 933 + 025
When I no-line color with markers, I like to scribble some of the marker ink down onto a palette or sheet of acetate then with only slightly damp brush pick up some of the color and then paint the images. I start at the edge of the petal or the base of the leaf with the most intense color (least diluted) then I will clean my brush and with a small amount of water I blend the color out to create a gradation over the petal or leaf.
Once I had finished coloring in the image, I then die cut the center out using the Someone Special Die. I then trimmed watercolored panel down to slightly smaller than an A2 panel. Next I stamped the sentiment in blue ink on an A2 light blue card base. I then finished the card by adhering the panel to the card front with foam tape.
I hope you enjoyed! Thank you so much for stopping by!
