Gratitude Mini
Hi everyone, it’s Kathleen (aka ScatteredConfetti) here and I am so excited to be sharing my Gratitude mini album with you all today!
Creating this album with the Gratitude Kit was super fun and easy since all of the products work perfectly together (but can also be used on their own). The possibilities are endless but I thought I would give you a few ideas for creating your mini album pages:
Wrap some twine or thread around the page & tuck in some die cut elements and/or photos.
Stamp a background in a very light color ink and add colorful die cut elements on top.
Add stitched elements to your pages (e.g. in the form of veins or outline the page.
Use your ink pads or refills to watercolor on a page.
Full page photo (or photo collage) embellished with stamping, heat embossing or die cut elements.
Use the Plaid Lines Stencil to create your own background in coordinating colors.
Fill a whole page with the detailed leaves from the Little Leaves Dies in different colors. This looks especially great on vellum.
I also used the accompanying cut file to cut two detailed leaves for some added texture and pops of color in my album. The papers I used are from the new Home for the Holidays collection.
On the backs of the pages I added some journaling and thoughts about what I am grateful for but of course you could also do that on the front of the pages.
The finished album is held together by some twine that I wrapped around the leaf stems and tied into a bow. I also added a little keychain with some die cut elements made with the Grateful & Thankful stamp & die set (and the Plaid Lines Stencil).
